Changed scent- again

I have had it up to here with tide changing the scent of their products while keeping the same label. I have a lot of sensory with smells and I’ve used the tide original pods for years and loved them. They recently added “cold water clean” to the label, but no change to scent. And then with this latest batch- same labeling- they smell completely different. Somehow both more floral and acidic? It’s terrible. I’m using mountain spring powder for now but I am upset. They have done this so many times over the years and it’s beyond frustrating.

Too much perfume

I have been using tide original powder for 30 years been very satisfied until I decided to switch to pods original thinking is the same light fresh smell product but that was not the case, too much perfume that smells like flowers or some bathroom spray… terrible mistake by tide you have ruined your wonderful brand ..

Please bring back the basic Tide with OXI

I am visiting my son in Virginia and helping with the laundry. I have been to multiple grocery and Target Stores in search of the basic TIDE with OXI to no avail. The chemical scent that comes with all of the new and improved TIDE is offensive and unbearable to my family and me. I can smell it when I walk down the street and pass a home in which the family is doing the laundry. It smells toxic to me. Please continue to provide the basic TIDE with OXI it works great to clean and remove stains and has a light non offensive fragrance, non chemical. I had to purchase a different brand due to unavailability of my preferred basic TIDE with OXI. I have used TIDE products exclusively for 40 plus years. occasionally trying a new and improved version but have always returned to my favorite TIDE. Please let me know where I might be able to find the basic TIDE with OXI, thank you for listening

I have used pods since I received my front load machines. My clothes come out clean and smell so good! I’ve tried off beat brands and they do not hold up to Tide Pods.

Change the scent back! Causing Rashes!

Come on Tide! Please stop changing your product! The product smells like a cheap knock off and it’s causing me and my kids to break out in rashes! Do better and stop changing the product for the worst! Might be time to change to persil.

CHANGE THE SCENT BACK!!

Its clear from all of the reviews out there that its a big thumbs down on the scent change. Its like wearing a bottle of perfume. I just bought my first container of pods since the scent change and it is going straight back to the store. Already had to re-wash several loads with a different brand. After all these years of using Original Tide faithfully, I guess we are breaking up. PLEASE change the scent back. Seriously. Why did you think you needed to mess with it? #leaveitalone

Scent change

I have used tide Original Pods for years and just recently the smell has changed. I’m not one to leave a review, but I can’t handle the smell now. I loved it and wish they would go back to the original smell. Am I the only one who noticed a change in smell?

I’m a Tide user for over 50 years….

But not anymore. I’ve been using the pods and it is definitely convenient however I’ve had nothing but trouble with them. The first order of them were stuck together, so I ordered more and they were fine for a short time and then all stuck together again. I tried once more and they too stuck together. Package says keep them away from moisture, easy to say but hard to do after all it’sa laundry room. I’m done. You pry them apart and they go off making a heck of a mess. To me they are a pain in the backside.

Scent Has Changed

These always smelled fresh and clean and now they do not. Laundry came out smelling like it hadn’t even been washed. Used them in both cold and warm water with the same result. They will not make your laundry smell good at all.

Love that these PODS work Amazing!

As usual Tide has done it again! I've always enjoyed their original scent and was excited to try these! No disappointment at all! Actually exceeded my smell test! Also cleaned very well even some stains are gone! These PODS are so easy to use and am glad to see Tide making them! Highly recommended!

Plastic pod stuck on clothes

You have to wash clothes again because the plastic pad gets stuck to cloth ☹️. It’s disappointing and a waste of time.

Great Product

You don't have to worry about spills or measuring detergent. Just pop one of these into the washer, your clothes come out clean and smelling fresh. Very convenient and economical. Definitely recommend!

Did not clean well!!

Tide Oxy pods did Not clean my dishes!! I had to re wash many dishes after running a hit full cycle. A poor product I’m surprised for Tide!! I will never buy it again.

Need smaller size

As a empty nester, I find that I need a smaller size for small loads or just to freshener up some things! I bought towels and wanted to wash them before putting in linen closet and felt that a small load with limited water, 1 pod was too much! So I borrowed some liquid tide from my sister ! Any other suggestions??

I love my tide pods as a college student...they are so easy to transport if you need to carry loads to other floors/rooms. I love tide pods for their convenience, but also for how effective they are! They smells great, clean my clothes well, and are affordable

My clothes are so clean!

I am so happy that I tried the Tide PODS Laundry Detergent- Original Scent. My clothes have never smelled so fresh, and they got really clean. I use a commercial multi load washing machine so I put 2 pods instead of just the 1. My T shirts and other clothes got so very clean. I am very impressed with this product and will definitely use again.

I am now a believer!

I was concerned about the price point but changed my mind after I finished my first container. I found I was using more product than I needed. Discovered this by how clean and fresh my laundry was after my first load. And only used ONE POD! My husband is an avid gardener and when I washed his work clothes they were actually clean! No additional stain remover was used. Even took out the older stains. Thank you Tide! You actually save me money, time and piece of mind.

Tide has always been a great product in my opinion and these pods continue to live up to the tide reputation. I love the convenience of a pre-measured pod that I can toss into the wash without having to worry about measuring out multiple products. I love using these tide pods.. They are way easier amd more convenient. They rem8ves stains and smell amazing.. I use two for a large bulky load amd 1 for a normap load. I have a smart washer and 8t is able to use these..

easy to use

Easy to use

If you are looking for the most efficient way to do your laundry without giving up on Tide quality I would say this is a must have. It does cost a little more but its really as easy as grabbing a pod and throwing it in!

Great Laundry Detergent

I was extremely happy with my Tide Pods I received. It's so much easier using a pod versus measuring a liquid or powder. Tide has been my favorite for many years and Tide Pods did not disappoint. They were convenient to use, cleaned my clothes very good and left them smelling amazing. They will be my go to from now on and I highly recommend them.

Can’t go wrong with Tide!

Tide was the only laundry detergent my family used growing up and now that I have a family of my own, I also only use Tide. Tide original is a classic go to and the new Tide PODS make washing clothes even easier! No liquid gunk stuck to a cup or leaking detergent containers. Just throw and go! They clean clothes just like regular detergent and always come out smelling so fresh & clean!

OMG the smell is overwhelming!

I can't breathe wearing anything washed in this. PLEASE turn it down a few notches. And NEVER again on our sheets. I was awake all night with a headache.

Easy to use

I like the convenience and ease of these tide pods. They also seem to be cleaning my laundry just as good as the liquid option of laundry detergent. I might try a scented version next time because I enjoy a little fragrance in my loads of laundry.

Wow! Superior product!

Ok, so I’m all about cold water washing, and that is what temperature I usually use in my wash for normal, every day laundry. EXCEPT for whites or heavy stains…then, I always use hot water. Well, my son dropped a whole cup of bright orange drink on my pristine white comforter. I decided to go against my better judgment and try the cold water pods….holy moly it ALL came out!!! My duvet is perfectly white again! Yep, I’m a convert! Good job Tide!

It made me switch

I love Tide - Tide PODS® Laundry Detergent Original Scent. I was using gain laundry detergent pods but when I received the Tide pods I get a load of laundry and it made my clothes cleaner, smell better that last longer and it seemed to make my clothes softer without fabric softener.

Tried and true!

Tide has been a trusted brand in my home for years. I love these handy tubs of pods because for the number of washes you get, it takes up a lot less space than liquid or powders. Laundry made easy

Tide Pods are always a great convenience when it comes to laundry time! We enjoy using pods because we don't have to measure out detergent and just toss them in. We had been having some residue issues with our usual detergent and didn't notice any issues with these pods!

Love Tide!!

I have not found a single Tide product that I haven’t loved from the very beginning. My clothes always come spotless, even the kids clothes that are stained with markers, food, and dirt. And the smell is always great, but never overpowering.

The best laundry detergent!

These detergent pods work way better than the other brands. Three pods in a overstuffed washing machine and the clothes still come out sparkling clean. They work great even for set in stains. I love the fresh clean scent too.

Laundry done right

We’ve been using these pods for a couple of weeks and the difference in how clean the laundry comes out is stunning. The scent is nice as well. No need for fabric softener. Definitely switching from gain to tide.

Clean and Fresh

I have been very pleased with Tide PODS. I use one pod for regular loads and 2 pods for large/extra large loads. I love the clean, fresh scent of my laundry. I have been extremely pleased with how clean my clothes look and smell.

I love Tide because it does the best job getting my clothes clean. These pods are especially nice because they are so convenient. They do just as good of a job as the Tide powder and liquid, but are neater and easier to use. I like to take them on road trips also because they hardly take up any space and are so convenient to just pop in the washing machine. Tide is the very best, so being in this pod form is just an extra bonus.

The best detergent

I have always been a fan of original tide, so getting to try the pods was great! So very easy to use, just toss in and don’t need to worry about measuring. Good Product

I've been using this product for a few weeks. I will honestly say that I'm not sure how well it actually cleans the clothes and takes out stains, as most of the clothes I wash are not stained and if they are, I use a stain remover prior. However, I will say that the container the product comes in is a nice space spacer.

Clean clothes!

Easy and smells good

I love how easy laundry is done with these pods. Just toss it in and start. No measuring, no accidental detergent mess, just drop and go. Wonderful product

My family is so excited about how this product makes our clothes look so much cleaner and have an amazing fragrance to them after using these pods. It is easy to just toss one or two packets into your load. No messing cups to fill and no measuring makes it easy. Best Detergent. Favorite Smell.

Tide is and has always been my favorite detergent. I usually use the liquid. However the pods were a fun change and way cleaner. I know when I toss one in that my clothes will come out be clean and fresh. Every. Time. the classic tide smell is just so clean. I wish I could make my whole house smell like this!

Great at stain fighting

Tide is the only brand of detergent that I know of that can keep my clothes colors bright. It removes stains, and makes your laundry smell fresh, and clean. My kids can get pretty dirty, but this detergent makes their clothes come out clean. I love the pods so no measuring needed. The directions for use are very easy to understand.

Have been using the other major laundry pods for years but never felt they truly got my clothes clean. They never got that Fresh out of the laundry smell and if they did, it didn’t last. I will ALWAYS recommend these to anyone and everyone.It has never ruin clothing by leaving staining or residue due to improper dissolving like other pods did. This is my favorite laundry pods!

I've been a little hesitant to try tide pods just Being used to using liquid detergent and wondering if that little pod really is going to be enough to get my clothes clean. I will be honest I was totally expecting I was going to need to wash my load a second time. But surprisingly it it did not need it. The laundry was clean it smelled nice. I really am surprised. I am convinced I am switching over to the Type pods From now on.

Switched to pods

I have swithced back and forth to and from pods. When teaching kids to wash, I think this has been a great way to do it as it is the pre-determined amount while having the strength of Tide I need for my clothing. I am and have been a big fan of the tide so I will continue to use them. I know I used a different brand that left what seemed like some sort of film on the clothes but noticed nothing on these clothes from the pods. Defiinitely recommend.,

Ingredient transparency, but prefer more natural

The pods are easy and conviene to use, I like that Tide has the list of ingredients with their description and purpose online so you know what you’re putting on your garments. However I could do without the vibrant colorings. As a personal preference I’d like to see a natural, dye free pod and options for scents duro es from natural sources like essential oils. I always feel weird throwing something BRIGHT blue and green in my whites or light colored clothes. I know it won’t stain but still is an unnecessary additive in my opinion. More variety of light scent would be great!

Tide pods, best in class

We started using pods a couple years ago, and have tried many brands. We have been using a cheaper, generic brand prior to getting the tide pods. Tide pods are definitely the premium pods. I will never go to generic brands again. The feel and scent of our clothes after using tide pods is much better than any other brand we have used. Definitely recommend.

Great clean laundry

Tide has always been my favorite laundry detergent. Nothing cleans better than Tide. The convenience of having the pods is wonderful. No more measuring for each load. Just throw a pod in and go. I love the original scent. You can use it a regular washer or an HE washer with no issues.

The best

Tide is the go to detergent I use for our home. I never have to worry about if our clothes are getting cleaned. The packets make it so much easier and no mess. Just throw in a pod and it's ready to go, no need to make a mess measuring.

Makes laundry so easy!

I am always trying new things. These Tide pods make doing laundry a breeze. The fragrance is light, and last through the drier. It isn't too strong. I really like the individual packaging, that make measuring unnecessary, Great to take in the RV or camping too.

I’ve always used Tide, initially in powder form, then liquid. I didn’t use a pod because it just didn’t seem like such a small amount of detergent could handle a load of laundry. I have these a try and the pod cleaned the clothes just as well as using much more in the all liquid bottles that I had previously used

I have always loved Tide, and the pods make doing laundry so easy. Just being able to throw a pod into the laundry rather than measuring out detergent makes life a little easier. It still gives your clothes that awesome tide fresh smell as well.

Very convenient - great scent

I'll admit that I have for years bought the tide liquid, but decided to give these a go. I always assumed that the liquid was "stronger" than these pods.. Wrong assumption on my part. These pack a lot of punch both in cleaning AND keeping a fresh scent. Highly recommend for those that are looking for a more convenient way to wash clothes that has all the strength as the original tide liquid.

Classic Tide

Cleans tough stains!

My latest product to review is the Tide PODS Laundry Detergent Original Scent. Tide has always been the best detergent for our family because it is the most effective fighting tough stains such as grass and food stains. We also like the lingering fresh fragrance of Tide in our clothing even days after the laundry has been done. The pods clean well in cold water too. Each pod contains detergent, a stain remover and a color protector. Toss a pod or two (depending on the size amounts of laundry that needs to be done) into the washing machine drum, add laundry and turn on machine. There is no need to measure detergent anymore. I received a 14 ounce bag containing 16 pods of Tide PODS Laundry Detergent to sample and to write my review. In my opinion, Tide has always been the best laundry detergent on the market.

True to the brand

The Tide pod 3 in 1 Cold water clean is detergent, stain remover and color protector all in one. Designed for use in cold water for tough laundry, it works just like it says it will! Love this product that cleans my work clothes without the added energy use of hot water.

Teen Boy Approved-Ocean Scent

If you are a mom/dad with teenage boys, I recommend these. The Tide Pod are the best when teaching my boys to wash their own clothes. The scent is important too. They will not use anything floral or “girly” smells. This scent is more like clean rain smell. The Tide Pod does a nice job with stains and teenage boy smells in clothes and athletic/gym wear which is a must. You will save $$$$ by buying pods if your children wash clothes. If I buy fabric softener and liquid detergent, it is either used wrong (fabric softer for the detergent) or fill the containers for liquid to the top when there is just a small load. They also dissolve well in my front loading washer. There is nothing worse than drying clothes to find a non-dissolved laundry glued now to your clothes. Trust me, that is a nightmare. Again, this is a win-win for everyone especially if you have kids who you are training to take care of themselves! Throw one in and press wash.

Great scent!

I'm not usually a fan of laundry pods. I feel like they don't always 'bust' open soon enough dueing the laundry cycle. Sometimes I find myself busting them open as the washer is filling up just to be sure. These pods seemed to open at the right time because my laundry smelled really fresh at the end of the cycle. The Tide scent lasts all day. I will continue to use this product especially when traveling or at our seasonal campsite.

I am a pretty firm believer and buyer in tide. It is also one of my all time favorite soaps.... I'm sort of wishing there was dish soap that was tide-scented. Because I would definitely buy it. But I do definitely recommend this.

Tide just got better

After trying different detergents we had finally narrowed down to using Tide detergent only for last 15 years. Love the smell of the detergent and clothes always come out clean. So decided to try Tide Pods and absolutely love it. I use it in HE washing machine and the film that holds the liquids completely dissolves in cold water. Depending upon the load, you may have to use 1 or 2 pods but this is very convenient.

I got this about a week ago and it's just like using the liquid laundry detergent with all the mess . The tide pods still clean your laundry the same way the liquid tide does. The tide pods still smell like the liquid as well and get your clothing just as clean .

So convenient!

I am used to a powder, unscented detergent, but wanted to try Tide Pods for their convenience. My colored and dark clothes came out clean with a pleasant light scent. I even washed my gardening gloves! The real test though, was whites. I was surprised to find they also came out bright and clean. That you just toss in the correct number of pods before adding the clothes makes it so easy, no measuring, no mess.

Great for travel!

I use Original Tide liquid on a daily basis. We went on vacation and I decide to take Tide Pods with us to save room on the travel. They were an excellent choice because of an excellent performance I expect from Tide but without the bulk! One pod was plenty for the machine at the beach condo but if I were to use at home, I feel like I would need more because of the size of my washer. All in all, great product!

These smell amazing!!!I absolutely love the smell of fresh clean clothes and I have been buying Unstoppables for years to try and boost that clean clothes smell into my laundry and even then, it was only a little with the Unstoppables.We recently went on a skiing trip and for the ease of using something in a rented condo, I bought a small pack of these same Tide Pods.After every load of laundry, we all just smelled so nice and that freshness lasted too!! I originally was just going to leave the leftover pods at the condo for the next family, but no way!! I brought them home and then jumped on Amazon to buy more!I have said goodbye to all my other detergents and I don't even need Unstoppables anymore, so while Tide Pods are a little more expensive than my other detergent, since I'm no longer using Unstoppables, it's actually cheaper!!I even recently gave someone a comforter that I had just washed with the pods and they messaged me asking what detergent I used bc it smelled so good!!If you're sensitive to that strong fresh laundered smell, this could be too much, but for those like me who LOVE that smell, this is the detergent for you!!!

Always a favorite!

Fresh Clean Clothes!

These tide pods are very easy to use. I simply place one inside our washing machine, ours has a special place where they go. My clothes came out nice and clean and smelling great! Work great and smell good

I don’t typically buy name brand detergent but I do prefer using pods. They make it easier (especially for my teens) and keep things clean and free of drips. One pack goes a long way!

I am a huge fan of laundry detergent pods due to their ease of use. However I often find myself using multiples to get the right level of clean. I work out often, typically in hot yoga or humid gyms (I live in florida) so I need a little extra care. These pods did the trick and outside of a very large load 1 was enough. They also worked well with my whites, which I never imagined getting clean with cooler water.

Great Work

I love Tide. It gets my clothes good and clean. The pods are so much nicer than the liquid or powder. You don't need to measure it out. I really like my Tide 3 and 1 pods. These pods work great in cold water making my laundry very clean and smelling great with the original scent. The instructions on the packaging are very clear and easy to understand, one pod for medium load two pods for large and three pods for extra large load. I like that the instructions advising you to use dry hands while handling the product. I will be telling my friends and family about the Tide pods.

Gets the job done easily

The pods are obviously very easy to use since you just put them in the washer and don’t have to measure anything out and there is no spillage. They dissolve completely during the washing cycle and do a great job getting rid of small stains that I didn’t even pre-treat. Smells great, and powerful cleaning!

First off, the packaging is “child-safe”. Heck, I’m an adult and found it tricky at first! No one is going to get poisoned accidentally. Second, the pods were distinct and didn’t stick together. The gummy coating feel sturdy so they won’t leak. Third, not that it matters, but the pods are pretty. Fourth, they dissolve well and make minimal bubbles — perfect for my high efficiency washer. Fifth, they made our laundry smell fantastic, but when wearing my clothes the smell didn’t conflict with my perfume. Finally, my clothes came out really clean, including a stain my husband had on a shirt pocket. We are definitely going to buy more!

I have always been a fan of Tide. I was late to the game trying Tide Pods. My opinion of Tide has improved, if that is even possible. I bought a Tide package containing 16 Pods. My mission: get my husband's work clothes clean. I placed 2 Pods in our HE washer, because I had a large load of clothes. I set the washer on the cold water setting. I put the package on a high shelf so my Grandkids or pets couldn't reach them. The package was difficult for me to open but I don't take chances. After I washed, then dried my husband's dirty, smelly work clothes I was happy that they were 100% clean. They smelled fresh. I will continue to use Tide Pods because they are convenient and perform to my satisfaction.

Cold water pods

I received a sample package of Three in one color water pods to sample and review, they contain detergent, stain remover and color protection all in one to help maintain the longevity of your clothes. We have been longtime powdered detergent users and this was my first time trying a pod. Tide Pods work great! Love my pods

Growing up Mom always used tide. Now I'm grown up and love my tide pods. Seriously cant get any easier than throwing a pod or two in with the laundry. I always stock up at sale time. My 6th grade was doing a laundry segment at school and had to help a parent with laundry and write a paper. I showed him how and he was shocked that all you need was a pod, lol. Tried and True!

Tide is a brand that I have used and trusted for many years! There are so many pros to these little convenient pods. Having 5 kids from toddler to teenager, I definitely need a detergent that is full of strength and stain busting technology. These work just as good using cold water as they would in warm, saving even more money! The new child lock also helps prevents my toddler from having access to the pods. You gotta love tide!

The smell is amazing. We washed the clothes using cold water (which I prefer). They came out clean and the smell was amazing. We didn't use a fabric softener sheet in the dryer like we normally do, and yet there was absolutely no static when they came out of the dryer. These are going to be saving us some money during these tough financial times. This will be the only product that well need to purchase. Also just using cold water will help bring our electric bill down. These Tide Pods are a Win-Win.

Tide hands down the best

This is the first time using Tide Pods Laundry Detergent. I’ve always used liquid tide. First time using Tide Pods and really like them. They clean just as well as liquid, the container is less heavy, makes less mess, and a lot easier to throw and go. Cleans great!

So fresh and clean

Tide is always a great laundry detergent, with a great smell. Now they have taken it a step further and added in stainlifters and fabric softener all in one pod. I noticed not only were my clothes cleaner but stayed fresh longer. My family and I have very sensitive skin and can tolerate this brand.

Bit pricey

I truly love this brand and their original scent. Having the laundry pod takes the guesswork out of measuring for each load. I do wish it was a bit cheaper, but other than that I have nothing but love for it. Would definitely recommend

So Fresh and So Clean!

Wow I think I found my forever laundry detergent! In the past I always used generic liquid detergent that left my clothes smelling weird and didn't always feel super clean. I recently started using these Tide Pods with their original scent and I'm now converted for life. It was so easy to use, all you do is toss one in for normal loads of laundry and it does the heavy work of cleaning and left my clothes smelling lovely. I highly recommend trying these out!

Fresh and Clean

I love these tide pods. They make doing laundry so easy. No more having to measure liquid laundry detergent or cleaning split detergent off my washing machine. The packaging specifies how many pods to use depending on the size of the clothing load. The clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. The detergent is also gentle on my kiddos skin and the packaging is child proof!.

Easier than liquid detergent!

Why haven't I tried PODS before? They are so easy to use! They are great for the family to do their laundry without me worrying they will use too much liquid detergent in the washing machine. Cleans well and leaves a fresh scent.

" Smells Fantastic "

These pods are fantastic. I just throw one in with my load of laundry and it goes to work. When I open the washer lid it smells so good. After drying them I bring them upstairs to fold. As I'm folding I can still smell the fresh scent. Tide gets my clothes perfectly clean. I don't have to add any additional cleaners to my washer while using Tide pods. It does all the work by itself. I can pull a shirt out of my dresser drawer a week after being washed and it still smells amazing. I would definitely recommend.

Easy peasy!

Wow…I can’t believe I haven’t tried these before. I do alot of dirty laundry and these pods certainly do the trick. They are easy to throw into the washing machine especially when my arms are usually full of laundry walking into the laundry room. Although I was leary about the power of cleaning, they did a great job. Although I’ve found a new friend, I will always have a bottle of liquid Tide for my stain treating. It’s all good!!

Bad on Whites

I've used these pods for a while now and have had no issues until recently. I washed my white comforter and when I took it out of the wash there were blue and green stains like the colors of the pods that weren't there before. I tried rewashing with bleach, detergent, and stain remover with no luck. This has never happened before and I'm honestly very sad my comforter has stains. Might have to switch back to regular detergent.

DONT PURCHASE THESE!,

Ive used multiple other products from this brand but I recently switched from the breeze scented pods to original, but that was a total mistake. After I used these pods with some of my lighter colored clothes turned BLUE. I thought nothing of it until I used the pods again but in an ALL WHITE load and everything came out with a blue shade. I don’t recommend this product unless you want to turn your fabric another color.

Not That Good

I have twice now since switching to pods went to put dress shirt on and the pod has totally stuck the shirt together. The outside has dried on the cuff once and in the inside. Not a good product...

Tide has always been

Tide has always been the best detergent out there. It gives my clothes the best clean and keeps colors looking bright. It fights against tough smells like when I was the dogs bedding. I am always amazed at how well everything comes out. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE CONVENIENCE OF PODS?! It makes doing laundry so much easier and avoids messes that happens with liquid detergents.

I can’t tell if these are the HE pods, but we only buy the HE pods. This is otherwise what we get, and they do a good job of cleaning the clothes. Every once in a while, a pod won’t break open all the way, and I will find a partially dissolved pod on clothes. I will have to re-wash some items, which is annoying. However, that might happen once a year—if even that often.

Horrible Scent makes my eyes water

This is not the Original scent from years ago. Nowhere on the packaging says you reformulated the products scent so your packaging is a downright Lie. I agree with the may others that this scent is seriously overpowering and very harmful to your health...not to mention the blue dye stains on my clothes. I will never use a tide pod again.

Love the pods, hate the container

I have a been a loyal Tide user for more than 50 years as it has always been the most reliable detergent. Cleans well and smells great. And with the convenience of Tide pods I love it even more. However, I absolutely hate the plastic container that they come in. For mature people it is difficult to pick up with one hand and hold on to. I thought about buying the smaller containers with the "zip" top, but it is more economical to buy the larger sizes. Would be great if Tide could modify the pod containers to have a handle like the liquid containers instead of the indentation grab holds.

All my clothes are ruined

I had a brand new sweatshirt I had never worn and it along with an entire load is now ruined with blue stains ALL over them from the detergent. I rewashed the load with no detergent and also with detergent and it did not make a difference so many of my clothes now ruined. As a college student I am beyond disappointed because I cannot afford to replace any of it, including my work clothes. I am so upset do NOT buy this product.l

Too smelly

Child proof lid

I bought Tide Pods as a convenience. I cannot get the child proof lid off by myself. The span of my hand is not wide enough. My husband had a terrible time today removing the lid and we decided we won't buy Tide Pods anymore. There has to be a better way! People need to keep Tide Pods away from their kids (watch them) and keep the government out of your business.

Melting

I do like the pods. The only reason I didn’t give. 5 star is that I have noticed when they melt in the washer sometimes they melt on my laundry. I’ve noticed this on my sheets and other clothing.

Sticky stain on laundry

I am not sure if the TIDE 3 in 1 pods have changed their formula. We love TIDE because we do not get an allergic reaction to the formula. HOWEVER, I have a consistent problem with the outside not dissolving away leaving a hard sticky substance on my laundry. I have been using the pods for years in the same machine and had no problems. This past year, all of my laundry loads come out with one or two garments having the hard sticky stain. I have to use shout to get the sticky off the garment because another wash does not do the trick. I am not crazy about washing a clean piece of clothing twice, but the sticky stain on my clothes and towels and sheets results in a required second washing.

I can’t get the container open, I will never buy this container again. I have been using tide my entire life, but I will have to switch to something that I can use. I have to go to a neighbor to open my tide pods before I can do my laundry! That is really maddening!

I waste too much of this product

This is the third time I have purchased the Tide pods 42 pack capsules. No problem as far as how well Tide cleans my clothes nor the convenience of the pods, BUT they will stick together and right now I have a container of 5 pods left and all stuck together. This is continually happening so I have had to change to liquid Tide in the big bulky container. Problem there was that I had to wait till someone came to my home to open it for me because there was no way I could due to arthritis.

This Product is way over scented

I use liquid Tide original scent all of the time; a good product. Purchased and used the Tide PODS 3 in 1 Original Scent and had to throw them away. Seriously over scented. I even left the washed laundry out for a couple of days and the room was almost overwhelmed with the scent. Had to rewash the whole load.

Leaves white residue on dark clothing

Do I recommend Tide Pods? Yes and No. Yes, I think they get clothes clearn......except for dark clothing. The pods leave white residue all over the dark or black clothing. I have to wash all of them again, all by themselves without detergent, in order to get out the white streaks the pods make. It's very aggravating to me.

What?!?!

I have a nighty Tshirt that I’ve worn almost nonstop since March .2019, I got one for my daughter too so sentimental. It is black background with different color sleepy time print. Wold not even venture a guess how many times it’s been washed. 1 wash with this and it was like new black not faded. I didn’t even realize these pods “rejuvenated” I was so shocked, I investigated more about this product. Unbelievable!How did that happen, and totally removed oily salad dressing from light grey shorts, grey shoes everything. I’m mystified and impressed.

Only if you are washing whites!

Please do not use if you are using with any colors! So sad to have used with my blue towels, no bleach but now have white spots in all my good towels.
